Hehe, did that title catch your attention? That’s right, I said PANTIES!! This might be the most risqué post I will ever write, I can’t believe I am writing about underwear!! I’m giggling as I write this because I have the maturity level of a 12 year old boy. You may want to avert your eyes if you blush easily…..or  if you are my parents….or my coworkers ……or my pastor.  You may not want to see this! Consider yourselves warned!  *giggle*

I’m at that life stage where so many of my friends are getting married, I think we have 8 weddings lined up this summer!  It’s so fun to celebrate with my friends as they meet, fall in love and marry their future spouses (especially if they happen to marry each other!). Because so many girl friends are getting married, I’ve been going to lots of bridal showers lately.  I always have a hard time figuring out what to give to the brides-to-be because gifting typical lingerie makes me squirm with embarrassment.  I get all shy and uncomfortable at Victoria’s Secrets picking out outfits for my friends!  And its so awkward at bridal showers if I discover too late that I was the only one giving something lacy and while everyone else gave kitchen ware.   I was once dubbed the “scandalous bridesmaid” at a shower held in a church basement because of this!  So to avoid such discomfort, my usual bridal shower gifts are these custom panties. I’ve made tons of these cute- and-less-scandalous-than-lace-thongs underwear over the years!  The brides usually gets a kick of them (and I think the grooms do, too!)

The above panties were bought at Aerie and customized with my Silhouette machine.

Of course, I had to make something something for my groom, too!  (can’t believe I am sharing this for all the world to see!)

Tomorrow, I’ll show what I make for the grooms! Teehee! Still giggling….
