I can’t post about custom panties without writing a followup about the male counterpart! Once again, if you are my parent, my coworker or my pastor, cover your eyes! This could be embarrassing for you and for me!
Jeff’s best friend got married this past Saturday. He asked me to make these for the groom for the bachelor party:
And because they are best buddies and I didn’t want Jeff to feel left out, he got matching undies:
The letters on the first pair of boxers were cut out using my silhouette machine and ironed on. Jeff’s pair is an example of how you can customize clothing using fabric paint. I used the freezer paper stencil technique, which I’ve used many times before I got my silhouette machine. (Here is as great tutorial on the freezer paper technique.) I cut out the letters using my Cricut machine on freezer paper which is waxy on one side. If you iron on freezer paper with the waxy side down, it sticks to the fabric like contact paper. You can then paint over it with fabric paint and then peel away the paper when the paint dries. If you don’t have any of these fancy machines, you can also print out the letters on paper, then place a layer of freezer paper over it, trace it and then cut out the letters with scissors or an exacto knife. You don’t need a silhouette machine or cricut machine to do this!!
Jeff LOVES his boxers! He wants me to tell you that he wears them all the time!! (hehehehe) Just kidding, he didn’t say that. I embarrass him enough online!
