While my friend L created our bouquets and boutonnières, we hired Larrissa of the award-winning Inviting Occasion to be in charge of the ceremony and reception flowers. Larrissa is a creative genius!! I told her I wanted flowers that were bright, colorful and fun and she just “got” my vision and ran with it!! She was awesome to work with, so friendly and responsive, a dream vendor. Her team created this jaw-dropping arch of flowers for the Teatro, right above where we would say our vows:

Since the Teatro was so big, I wanted something to fill the space, so Larrissa searched high and low for the perfect red fabric to hang as curtains. Since I also love butterflies (as evident in the butterfly in my blog header), she found these silk butterflies and hung them on the archway and on other floral arrangements. I loved this cute little detail!

My sister said that during the ceremony, real live butterflies started flying around above our heads. How perfect is that?!
For the ceremony, some of the reception flowers doubled to line the aisle:

I also told Larrissa that I love ribbons and wanted “lots of flowing ribbons everywhere!” so her team cut and hung yards of colorful ribbons to the backs of chairs:

They also hung ribbon all over rafters around our venue:

Guests walked through waterfalls of flowing ribbon all around the grounds. I love how the ribbons danced and waved in the breeze! They added a fun, whimsical touch!
