Grateful to be alive!
Your scarves are beautiful, I got to your blog from Sew Can She today, her daily free tutorial! I have a quick hint on sewing knits, if you pin a strip of tissue paper (repurposed from all those gift bags you probably get!) along the knit fabric seam where you are going to sew, the pressure foot to your maching glides along nicely and won’t pull on the knit fabric.
Hope you can do another scarf give away, the fabrics you have are lucious, and we don’t have the fabric outlets up here in upstate New York, cow country!
Thanks for the tip, Cathy! I’ll try that!! I also heard putting a piece of tape underneath the pressure foot also helps, but I haven’t tried it before. – ilene
I am grateful for my pets today
I’m grateful for God!
I am thankful for your blogs on infinity scarves because now I can make some and make other people happy.
