One of Jeff’s college female friends is pregnant and this is a big deal because it is her first child (son) and her baby shower was the first time Jeff had ever been invited to a baby shower!  While I have attended and hosted more than my fair share of baby showers, Jeff was super excited and nervous, he even asked me what he should wear! I thought that was very cute.  We bought the couple a few things off their baby registry which was sent directly to their house, but I felt strange attending the shower empty handed. Plus, I wanted to give them something fun to add to the practical items that we picked off their registry.  The baby boy’s last name will be “Chew” so I came up with this onesie:

A little train with the words “chew chew!” underneath it.  The train and letters were cut out with my silhouette machine. I can’t say enough good things about this device, I use it all the time!!  I love that the heat transfer material is flocked so its soft and fuzzy.

I decided to decorate the gift bag and design a card to create a whole train-themed suite:

The card:

And because Jeff and the mom-to-be went to college together, I threw in a bib from their alma mater:

All wrapped up and ready for the baby!
