A few of my girl friends have asked for more belly bump pictures, so here they are!
The last time I shared my belly pics, I was only 20 weeks along and barely showing. Our baby was the size of a mango back then. I am now 33 weeks pregnant! She’s now about 4 lbs and 17inches in my belly and growing bigger by the day! It’s hard to believe that I still have almost two more months to go, because I am feeling BIG! How could I possibly get any bigger than this?! I get comments all the time about my growing size. Sure makes a woman feel good when people see me with their eyes bulged out and gasp “WOW, you’ve gotten BIG!” One great thing about being pregnant is how nice everyone is to me! People open doors for me, let me ahead of them in line, a security guard carried my groceries out to my car from Trader Joe’s last week and even the bums out on the streets of San Francisco yell “Congratulations!” to me as I waddle past them. Definitely a perk of being preggers!
Despite feeling big, I feel pretty great these days! First trimester was rough, but the second trimester and start of third trimester have so far been pretty wonderful. Even though my body seems to be changing almost daily- some part of me always seems to be aching or swollen- I am enjoying being pregnant, especially when I feel my little girl kicking inside. It’s a totally weird feeling but it makes me so happy knowing that she is there and active and healthy. As our delivery date approaches though, I am getting a lot more anxious about the labor and delivery part, to the point where I’m having insomnia at nights which I heard is common in the third trimester. Jeff and I went to a labor/delivery class a few weekends ago and I burst into tears TWICE during the live birth videos because I was so terrified watching it all! I was like “THAT’S what happens?!!?” Other women were crying at how beautiful the whole birthing process was, while I was crying out of sheer horror. It’s scary!
Anyways, I’ll be sharing a few of my maternity projects this week. Hope you enjoy them!

Oh no! Try not to be worried. If you want we can talk/email about the labor part. Just let me know! No question is too weird.
hey sis thanks for posting the baby bump pics, they’re amazing!:) just wanted to let you know i am thinking of you guys (and my little niece!) daily and send you my love! xoxoxoxo!
Oh my goodness! You are NOT alone in seeing more aaauugghh! than awww! in the birthing process! I didn’t even want to go to birthing class, feeling the less I knew the better, but my husband insisted we go.
BUT it’s all worth it when you see their little face staring back at you!
I was going to go all natural but ended up getting an epidural and I HIGHLY recommend it! Nothing bothered me after that!
Congratulations! I know people are probably giving you tons of advice (that you’d rather not hear), but I just had a baby 9 weeks ago and I promise that labor and delivery aren’t that bad. You’re going to be so excited to meet your little girl that you’re not going to care about the pain or discomfort.
The only thing I wish people had told me is that babies do come early without any warning. My water broke at 36 weeks and I ended up at home with a baby a month before we expected him. I spent a lot of time in the hospital ordering last minute baby stuff on Amazon Mom. As far as the actual delivery, there was some discomfort and pain, but it doesn’t last long. I had all kinds of interventions (that would have otherwise been painful), but I was so excited to meet my son and I had my mom, husband and mother in law there so I wasn’t scared at all. The pain completely leaves your body once that baby arrives. There is some recovery, but it wasn’t that bad.
Enjoy the pregnancy and remember that the stress and exhaustion you feel with a newborn will be over so quickly that you’ll look back and wonder how you got through it. It’s the best feeling in the world… seriously.
