Jeff, baby Zoey and I would like to wish you all a very very Merry Christmas!!
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, I hope you are having a wonderful day! After driving 450 miles from SF to southern California with our 6 week old newborn and our every crevice of our SUV crammed with baby stuff (took us 12 hours to complete the journey!), Jeff and I are having a fabulously restful time with our family. I’m determined to make Zoey’s first Christmas a special one and start a few new family traditions while we celebrate our Savior’s birth today. It’s so good to be back home and surrounded by our friends and family! After traveling to Mexico last Christmas and Puerto Rico the year before that, there is nothing better than being back in the comforts of my parents’ home for the holidays. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Jeff and I have so much to celebrate and be grateful for this season. We are especially thankful for the precious gift of our daughter Zoey. I am reminded over and over again how lucky we are to have her. God’s been so good to us in 2012. Here is a picture of our little baby girl from the Christmas cards we sent out this year:
It took about 500 shots to find one semi-decent image and someone had a meltdown (the lone male member of our family) so I had to call it quits before I could get a really good shot that I was satisfied with. Its really hard to get a 5 week old and a grumpy husband (who isn’t even IN the photo) to cooperate! Here was the runner up photo:
Thanks for reading my blog! Wishing you all the very best this holiday season!
